Siem Reap: The Department of Forestry Management, Cultural Landscape and Environment is carrying out protective measures at Angkor to manage high-risk trees that are endangering temples and visitors.
Deputy Director of the Department of Forestry Management, Cultural Landscape and Environment of the APSARA National Authority, Chou Radina, said that during the rainy season this year, bad weather has caused some trees and large branches to fall onto temples, which has required the team to work urgently.
Taking advantage of the work, the APSARA Authority is also trimming back other trees which also pose a risk of future damage to the World Heritage Site.
